Creative Quarters...Anna London

The next designer to be featured in Creative Quarters is Anna London.

Anna London is a surface and pattern designer by night, and a UI designer by day.
Her love of patterns developed while taking a textile printing class in University and has never gone away.
She currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany where she spends her free time drawing and creating repeat patterns.
Anna grew up in California with a creative Mom who always encouraged her to do art projects.
She studied Design and Studio Art at the University of California at Davis, where she enjoyed taking a range of classes, including printmaking, sculpture, fashion design, and web design.
She loved experimenting with so many different mediums and found inspiration in combining different techniques.
She loves to use bright colours and bold shapes to create designs which she hopes make people happy.
She would love to see her work on fabric, stationery, or home decor and is currently in the process of producing her first product, printed cotton tea towels, and she is very excited to see her work come to life!
Her inspiration comes from strange and unique plants and she loves drawing at the Berlin Botanical Garden.
She is also inspired by folk art, and the colours of her favourite painters and printmakers, especially California painters Wayne Theibaud and Richard Diebenkorn.
