Inspired by...Jam & Ginger

Janine Burrows aka Jam & Ginger is an illustrator and designer, 

passionate about print, pattern and paint.

With over twenty years design experience, Janine's work has been used on wallpaper, greeting cards and giftware, with clients including Scion, Woodmansterne, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer.

Janine is one talented lady, able to create bold graphical prints, hand drawn designs with textures and mark making, right through to beautifully painted scenes full of energy, and of course gorgeous colours throughout.

Inspired by... Kate Pugsley

Kate Pugsley is a Chicago based illustrator, surface designer and painter.

I'm sure you're already familiar with her signature style illustrations having seen them on giftwrap, cards, clothing and editorials with the likes of Flow magazine, collections for Red Cap Cards and most recently a collaboration with the clothing brands Les Gamins and Lazzari.
Kate has a lovely narrative to her work, often exploring interactions between people, animals and nature, and with a lovely eye for colour!

Inspired by... Cathy Nordstrom

Cathy Nordstrom is a surface pattern designer based in Stockholm.

I'm sure anyone interested in beautiful florals, wonderful colour palettes and just gorgeous prints will already follow her on social media.

Inspired by the natural world around her, as well as vintage wallpaper and fabric, Cathy creates wonderful modern florals, patterns and conversational that have been used by clients such as Ikea, Dashwood Studio, Andover Fabrics, and she also has a collection with Lilipinso.

On her instagram, Cathy shares examples of her prints, but also her processes, so you get an insight into her working sketchbooks and some of the techniques she uses, which is lovely to see.

I just love Susie Hammers work. It's just fun fun fun all the way!

Based in Madrid, but originally from Poland, Susie is a freelance illustrator and graphic artist.

Creating the cutest designs using simple shapes and forms in bright, happy colours, they're sure to put a smile on your face.
