Inspired by...Rosehip cards...

I've always loved the designs from Rosehip cards, and have come to acquire a nice little gathering of their notebooks that sit very nicely on a shelf in my studio.
Sooooo nice!
Silkie, the designer behind Rosehip always uses such lovely colour combinations and the patterns are super nice.
I can never decide which ones to have when I see them in the shops,
so end up buying all of them!
(just to fuel my notebook obsession)
Well, I came across some of their new designs recently and they are beautiful...
The collection features tape measures, buttons, cotton reels, lots of lovely haberdashery bits and bobs...across small and large notebooks, gift wraps, tags and cards.
And not only are the products themselves lovely, but I really like the styling and photography used on the shoot too, mmm...
Here are a few of my favourites from the website...

Check out their blog too

Back from Ibiza...

Well hello there lovely readers!
I've just returned from a lovely week away with the boy in Ibiza.
Hope you enjoyed the two colour crush posts I left you with...

We stayed in the resort of Saint Euliala in Ibiza which is the quieter side of the island
(needless to say, glow sticks were not involved at any point of our holiday, neither were we breaking out any moves similar to 'big fish little fish'...ha ha! Soooo old skool!?).

We got to visit some lovely places, in and around the island, of which many photos were taken (obviously)
so I'll be posting a few very soon...watch this space.
It was lovely to come back to a bank holiday weekend here in the UK, woop woop!
And, some glorious weather on Sunday too, happy days!

Heres a little snap of Ibiza Town but there'll be more to follow soon...
Hope you all had a good week!

Food Revolution Day...

You all know I'm a big food fan; eating it, cooking it, baking it, ogling gloriously styled photos of the stuff, basically anything that goes hand in hand with it...
And, you probably also know that I love Jamie Oliver, so...

I thought I'd share this little number with you...

Happy Food Revolution Day!

Heres a little snippet from the official website as to what its all about...

"Food Revolution Day on 17 May is a global day of action for people to make a stand for good food and essential cooking skills. It's a chance for people to come together within their homes, schools, workplaces and communities to cook and share their kitchen skills, food knowledge and resources. Food Revolution Day aims to raise awareness about the importance of good food and better food education for everyone by focusing on three simple actions – cook it, share it, live it. The first Food Revolution Day took place on 19 May 2012 with more than 1,000 events in 664 cities across 62 countries."

Theres plenty going on, fundraising, dinner parties, videos, recipes to share, a whole site of resources...
I'm totally behind the reasons for this day;
cooking skills and the understanding of food are sooo important.
Getting back to basics, cooking and eating fresh produce,
learning essential skills and sharing...
So... lets get cooking!

Kiki's boutique - Olivia Burton watches

I received another lovely little package last week, following my earlier biscuit surprise...
A yummy pink parcel from Kikis boutique.
They have the new label 'Olivia Burton' watches in stock now, and they are beautiful!
Vintage inspired leather watches, available with big or mini dials in rose gold, gold plated or a motif design, and in an array of gorgeous strap colours; pale turquoise, coral, tobacco, navy, dusty pink, and many more.

Below is the stunning big dial mink and rose gold design, and I must say, it didn't disappoint.
I'm actually not a big watch wearer but as soon as I saw this collection, I loved them, and will now not be without my yummy new wrist candy!

Check back to my previous post here last month for more lovely products currently in stock.

Pancakes, pancakes, pancakes...

Ok...so I love pancakes, and I mean, really, love pancakes!
It could be pancake day every day and I'd be one happy girl!
But seeing as its not, I like nothing more than making a big pile of them
for a late, lazy (very naughty, but yummy) breakfast at the weekend.

I've been trying out lots of different recipes recently to find the fluffiest, yummiest pancakes;
good old lemon and sugar, buttermilk, thick, thin, big, small, loaded with fruit and maple syrup, chocolate and banana, and recently I tried blueberry and ricotta and they are amazing!
(The ricotta makes them so fluffy and light)

Click here for the recipe over on the Simply Delicious blog.
Below is the result of my efforts in the kitchen...
(I loved how the blueberries looked like little jewels sitting in them!)
They didn't last very long...the boy and I scoffed them in record time.
Yum!

(see...little jewels!)

Here are a few more of my favourite pancake recipes, give them a go!
