New find...

Well, thanks to Nicola at www.nicolapearson.blogspot.co.uk I came across some gorgeous designs from Ashley Thomas that are being sold in Debenhams. They are absolutely bloomin' lovely and I had to order a few purchases straight away, oops!
Cushions, framed art, notebooks...spoilt for choice.

I had a little look at Ashley's website for more designs and its definitely worth a little trip over, yum!

Heres a little taster....

Baileys Home and Garden

I had a lovely little trip out to Baileys Home and Garden store recently which my lovely friend introduced me to. (she knows me so well... I loved it!)
They sell a gorgeous mix of vintage and new products all based around the concept of recycling, re-using and repair (a topic I'm sure we're all aware of lately!?).
The shop itself, made up from magically restored and repaired run down buildings is situated at Whitecross Farm near Ross-on-Wye.
If you're ever passing nearby it's definetley worth a visit.
Some of the gorgeousness you can expect to find are 'kitchenalia', stationery, an array of scented candles, textiles and much more...

Ooh and you'll just love the packaging they use, beautiful!

Here are a few sneaky pics and some images from their own website for a taster...

Teresa Green...

I've been a fan of Teresa Cole's work for ages now (aka Teresa Green), going back to when I was at University. I just love her naive and quirky style of drawing and the 'looseness' she creates when she handprints onto various surfaces; cushions, cards, bags, tea towels, etc...
It's also probably that she uses antique 'kitchenallia' as a source of inspiration in her work, love it!
Have a pop over to Teresa's website for a closer look, it'll be worth it, promise! x x x

A gathering of loveliness...

We had a little day trip out to Stratford-upon-Avon recently (the boy, the fluffball and me!) and, apart from having a lovely time walking along the river and sitting in the park, eating fish and chips and ice cream (in that order, yum!), wondering around the farmers market and then having multiple photographs taken of Alfie (the fluffball) by lots of tourists, (bit weird but I suppose he's just THAT cute) we also had time to look round a few shops.
There are some of the normal high street shops you'd expect to see but also some lovely small independent shops stocking some gorgeous things so I thought I'd do a little round up of some nice bits I fell in love with. (and of course, some purchases were made, it would have been rude not to...)

First up, a lovely little 'Aladdin's cave' of a shop called Aspire Style.

Full to the brim with gorgeous jewellery, bags, decorative home bits and bobs and general loveliness.
( I bought a lovely key necklace and a ring, can'r resist a bit of jewellery)

They had lots of products themed around 'haberdashery', with tape measures, buttons, sewing patterns and instructions and all in lovely faded colours.

(How cute is this owl?!)

Thought these were just gorgeous, love the mix of the delicate bird cages with a ditsy floral print and doilies. (loving doilies at the moment...)

Next up... Vinegar Hill.
I've visited one of these shops before, in Cheltenham, which was a little bigger than the one in Stratford, but still full of gorgeous home decorations with quite a big focus on a nautical theme at the moment. You can visit their website here.
There was a collection of homeware that really caught my eye by Pip Studio, yum!

And when I visited their website after seeing this gathering of loveliness in Vinegar Hill, I was not disappointed. Right from the home page, its just b.e.autiful!

ooh, gorgeous yes?
Definetley!

I also added to my collection of rosehip notebooks. I love all of the different patterns and thought this one was really nice.

See more on the website here.
