Inspired by...Charlotte Hardy

I came across the paintings of Charlotte Hardy quite recently...
How yummy are these!
Charlotte is an artist and illustrator based in South London, and her prints and greeting cards are available to buy through various high street shops and galleries.
Her subject matters focuses on still life of decorative objects and domestic interiors and include things such as florals, cafes and shops, clothing, etc...
I really love her use of pattern and colour and how she layers the paint to create textures and mark making.
Here are a few of my favourites, but click here for more...

Take Four...loving salted caramel!

I've noticed lots of recipes recently using salted caramel, so, needing no excuse
for a bit of a foodie gathering and some new recipes to try out, I thought I'd do a 'Take Four' post dedicated to the glorious naughtiness that is salted caramel.

Enjoy....

Snaps from the Lake District...

Well, I'm a bit late getting around to sorting the pics I took in the Lake District, but out of quite a few, heres a little gathering of my favourites...
We stayed in the very lovely Old Post House in Lakeside.

Oh, and you know the song, 'Four Seasons in One Day'...?
Well, we seemed to have four seasons in one week;
waking up to snow on our very first day there, then bright glorious sunshine, followed by rain.
A little strange, but still a wonderful week!

love these li'l guys...check out their bright orange feet!

An organized kitchen...

Morning all...
Hope you're having a fabulous weekend so far with some glorious sunshine!
I don't know whether its a spring thing
or just a case of me generally liking to be super organized
(err yep!) but I've been buying some gorgeous glass jars and bits and bobs of 'storagey' things for the kitchen recently.
(below being some of them, cute or what?!
and some of these little numbers from garden trading)

And, when it comes to the kitchen, I like things to be where they should be and know whats what...
So, I've been keeping an look out for some pantry labels on my internet travels lately and my, have I found some yummy ones!
I'm loving all of these, so thought I'd share them with you all in the hope that you share my touch of 'ocd-ness' when it comes to the kitchen, ha ha!

(Better still, the labels from The Painted Hive and World Label below are freebies!
Get printing!)

Anyway, enjoy...
